Job Description

Comms Specialist\\n\\nContract onsite in London\\n\\nThis contract roles will require you to conduct security clearance prior to assignment. The Comms Specialist role is conducted in an environment that is far from ordinary, therefore, we're not looking for ordinary. \\n\\nJob purpose and Key responsibilities:\\n\\nSupport the development and implementation of a Communications Strategy and Plan – \\n\\nRegular Activities:\\n\\n*Strategic communications planning\\n\\n*Stakeholder analysis\\n\\n*Communications needs analysis\\n\\n*Communications campaign planning\\n\\n*Channel design\\n\\n*Events planning and orchestration\\n\\n*Assisting with the development of the Strategy function's 'brand' and 'image' both internally and externally to The Authority's organisation.\\n\\n*Stakeholder / relationship management (as pertaining to delivery of the communications service)\\n\\n*Organise Town Halls, Comms change network, other led communities/initiatives?\\n\\n*Manage engagement initiatives such as observers (ensuring sign up, invitations, spares etc) \\n\\n*Facilitating comms and engagement events \\n\\n*Compilation of Governance reporting and metrics\\n\\n*Circulating council papers for comment\\n\\n*Managing rolling programme of content for screens\\n\\n*Managing and organising key events (e.g.

roadshows, townhalls, team awaydays, workshops etc.):\\n\\n*Drafting high level VTX content for validation and inclusion in briefings, bulletins, newsletters and scripts.\\n\\n*Responsible for keeping the transformation SharePoint sites HS/LS up to date and coordinating with content creators.\\n\\n*Maintaining a regular comms plan and supporting workstreams with their comms plans where required.\\n\\n*Alignment across BAU comms and broader department to identify links and avoid clashes.\\n\\n*Design creative comms solutions to meet our objectives and goals for business change.\\n\\nBusiness Change:\\n\\n*Organise and run workshops, focus groups and other engagement with staff at all levels, and across all areas. For many areas this will begin with raising awareness and to help staff understand and support any need for change\\n\\n*Help define the knowledge staff and teams will require to support and embedany business change\\n\\n*Develop and implement a wider range of business change activities\\n\\n*Develop and implement mechanisms to review how well business change is being embedded and where necessary recommend further action\\n\\n*Plan and deliver communications that support any required business change through an imaginative \\n\\n*Organisational wide comms on any project/programme progress and achievements:\\n\\n*Next steps and milestones that the wider office needs to know\\n\\n*Leading coordinated efforts from all parts of product to communicate – blogs, updates, meetings – to engage our customers and stakeholders;\\n\\n*Assisting, developing and delivering product leaders communications strategy;\\n\\n*Drawing on data from across product and engineering to deliver insights to the office and seniors on what we are working on and our progress\\n\\nComms Authoring:\\n\\n*Creating and maintaining narratives/lines to take.\\n\\n*Copywriting content for Senior Leaders to review – 'snapshot emails, intranet and internet content, publications etc'\\n\\n*Framing a specific comms activity then proactively canvassing and targeting people across our community to contribute their elements, take ownership of messaging and actions.\\n\\nSkills, Behavioural & Technical Competencies:\\n\\n*Enthusiastic, creative\\n\\n*Demonstrable delivery in an agile environment\\n\\n*Strategic comms professional\\n\\n*Comfortable with autonomy\\n\\n*Flexible and adaptable, \\n\\n*Excellent at building a range of relationships \\n\\n*Keen eye for opportunities and drive to deliver ideas \\n\\n*Share ideas and help team on a regular basis\\n\\nAs an organisation and as a team, Guidant Global are committed to fostering an equitable, diverse and inclusive workplace, where every employee and contractor feels valued and empowered throughout their time with us.\\n\\nWe actively seek to recruit talent from all backgrounds, and to draw on a rich blend of experiences, perspectives and creativity.
