Pay Rate: Up to £42.00 per hour (Umbrella)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Children & Families Social Worker to join a well-established team in Stroud. This role offers the opportunity to work with children and families through timely, evidence-based interventions that deliver meaningful and lasting outcomes.

You will manage a balanced caseload of approximately 18 cases, covering a mix of Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Children in Care (CIC) work, including some court responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Hold and manage a varied statutory caseload across CIN, CP, and CIC
Complete high-quality assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions
Undertake court work as required, including report writing and attendance
Ensure children are seen face-to-face in line with statutory requirements
Work in a timely, outcome-focused manner to achieve positive results
Build strong working relationships with families, partner agencies, and professionals

Flexible and Agile Working

Commitment to supporting a healthy work-life balance

Office-based attendance expected three days per week
Laptop and smartphone provided to support agile and mobile working
