About the Opportunity
Guidant Global is delighted to partner with Airbus to recruit a talented Build Process Engineer for the Wing of Tomorrow (WOT) programme - an industry-leading initiative shaping the future of aviation manufacturing. In this role, you will help design and define cutting-edge build processes in alignment with advanced industrial requirements, playing a key part in bringing next-generation manufacturing concepts to life. Working with the latest digital technologies, including 3DX, you will help translate engineering design into robust, efficient, and safe production processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in aviation or automotive engineering who enjoys problem-solving, collaboration, and driving improvement.
What You Will Be Doing
- You will play a vital role in developing and maturing the build processes required to deliver future Airbus wings. Key responsibilities include:
- Creating detailed Industrial Dossiers and build process documentation through to the serial planning phase.
- Influencing and shaping product design by ensuring industrial needs are embedded early in the Design Definition (DDS).
- Supporting the development and maturity of new manufacturing technologies and solutions.
- Producing Component Delivery Specifications (CDS) and ensuring alignment across multifunctional teams.
- Collaborating with engineering, tooling, and manufacturing partners to identify, analyse, and resolve technical issues.
- Supporting Manufacturing Engineering requirements within tooling tenders and related technical packages.
