Join a specialist Calibration & Maintenance team supporting advanced defence electronics systems. This role focuses on maintaining, calibrating, and fault-finding complex electronic test equipment used in high-reliability production environments. You will work across a range of technologies from DC through to RF and microwave, supporting the testing and manufacture of highly complex electronic systems.
What you will be doing:
- Fault finding and repair of electronic test equipment to component level
- Calibration and verification of test systems
- Commissioning and acceptance of new test equipment
- Supporting production teams with equipment issues and troubleshooting
- Maintaining accurate calibration and maintenance records for compliance
What we are looking for:
- HNC/HND in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (essential)
- Experience with calibration or electronic test equipment
- Strong fault-finding skills to component level
- Good understanding of calibration principles and processes
- Able to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manuals
- Strong problem-solving and ability to manage multiple tasks
Desirable experience:
- RF or microwave test equipment
- Experience within regulated or high-reliability environments (e.g. defence, aerospace)
- Exposure to complex test systems (e.g. digital, analogue, RF, environmental testing)
