Join Guidant as we collaborate with the world's largest aircraft manufacturer, Airbus. We are in search of skilled Aircraft Fitters to join Airbus' Systems and Equipping areas, based at the prestigious Broughton site where you will be situated within the Wing Build Production section.
If you have experience in a Domestic or Commercial Electrician role, you are invited to join us at Airbus and embark on essential and challenging work, as aircraft wings are among the most technically intricate components of an aircraft. This role is not an Electrician position; however, candidates with an electrical background bring valuable experience in installation, routing, testing, fault finding and working to technical drawings and standards.
About the role- Installation, fitting and integration of aircraft systems and equipment.
- Conduct repairs on metallic and composite materials.
- Working from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, build instructions and specifications.
- Carrying out functional checks, continuity checks and basic system testing.
- Ensuring all work meets quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
- Recording work accurately in accordance with company and aviation standards.
- Occasionally work in confined spaces or at height.
- Double Days: Week 1 - 06:00 to 13:10, Week 2 - 13:30 to 20:40 (Mon to Fri)
- Nights: 20:45 to 06:00 (Mon to Thurs)
We are looking for individuals who have completed a Domestic or Commercial Electrician full Apprenticeship including an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent).
