Are you an experienced public sector solution leader ready to shape complex, high value bids that make a real impact? As our Solutions Director, you’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of opportunities, bringing together service, technology and commercial thinking to craft compelling, client centred solutions. Working at the heart of our Growth function, you’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, drive innovation, and ensure we present the strongest possible offer to our Public Sector clients.
This position is home-based with the flexibility to travel for both client & team meetings.
What you’ll be doing
- Taking full ownership of a portfolio of complex bid opportunities, leading the end to end solution design across service, technology, commercial and financial elements.
- Shaping compelling, client centric solutions that align with company’s strategy, address key client challenges, and maximise Probability of Win.
- Coordinating and guiding multidisciplinary teams, including architects, solution consultants and analysts, within a matrix environment to ensure high quality, integrated bid outputs.
- Facilitating solution workshops, reviews and collaborative working to ensure clarity, consistency and strong governance through the full bid lifecycle.
- Ensuring all solutions meet company’s governance, risk and assurance requirements, including Sales Governance and Solution Assurance processes.
- Providing expert insight into costing, pricing strategies, delivery models and transition planning to ensure solutions are feasible, competitive and deliverable.
What we’re looking for
Essential
- Strong experience working within the Public Sector with a proven understanding of public sector procurement, decision making and contracting processes.
- Demonstrable track record of developing winning, deliverable solutions that integrate service and technology components across complex bids.
- Highly effective at facilitating collaboration, able to engage confidently with clients, internal contributors, and wider stakeholder groups to shape high quality solutions.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to bring clarity, structure and consistency to the solution design process.
- Comfortable operating in a high challenge, high complexity environment, managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, with the capability to lead the development of solution materials, templates and associated documentation.
Desirable
- Experience mentoring or coaching solution contributors such as architects, consultants or analysts to embed best practice.
