  • Managing budgets, controlling expenditure and ensuring resources are used effectively
  • Ensuring all project documentation is accurate, compliant and kept up to date
  • Maintaining strong health & safety standards across all project activities
  • Identifying, managing and mitigating project risks, escalating issues where required
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external partners

  • Proven project management experience within the building and construction sector
  • A strong understanding of the full construction lifecycle and associated processes
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical building systems, including design, operation and lifecycle
  • The ability to translate client briefs into clear construction requirements and scopes of work
  • Excellent knowledge of health & safety practices
  • Strong communication skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • A proactive, organised approach and the ability to lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience using project tools such as MS Project and Google Workspace (GSuite)

Essential qualifications

  • A qualification in Construction or Building Services (BSc or HND), or equivalent professional experience
  • Relevant professional membership (e.g. CIBSE, IMechE, IET)

What you'll receive

  • Competitive hourly rates (Β£30.23 PAYE / Β£40.44 Umbrella)
  • A 12-month contract with strong potential for extension
  • The opportunity to work on complex, high-impact construction projects
  • A professional, supportive environment that values safety, collaboration and delivery excellence
  • Exposure to career-enhancing projects within a well-established organisation
