We're looking for an experienced Building & Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-value, site-based construction projects in Belfast. This is a client-side role, ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects from early concept through to successful handover, while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards, working closely with internal teams, external partners and senior stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
As a Building & Construction Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of construction projects, including:
- Leading client-side construction projects from feasibility and design through to completion and handover
- Developing and managing project delivery plans, CAPEX business cases, and risk & opportunity registers
- Providing clear leadership and direction to multi-disciplinary project teams and stakeholders
- Ensuring all project documentation is accurate, compliant and kept up to date
- Maintaining strong health & safety standards across all project activities
- Identifying, managing and mitigating project risks, escalating issues where required
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external partners
We're keen to hear from professionals who bring strong client-side construction experience and a collaborative leadership style:
- Proven project management experience within the building and construction sector
- A strong understanding of the full construction lifecycle and associated processes
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical building systems, including design, operation and lifecycle
- The ability to translate client briefs into clear construction requirements and scopes of work
- Experience using project tools such as MS Project and Google Workspace (GSuite)
- A qualification in Construction or Building Services (BSc or HND), or equivalent professional experience
