The predicted salary is between 20 - 21 € per hour.

Contract: 12 months, likely extension

Pay: £20.85 per hour (PAYE) / £27.89 per hour (Umbrella)

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 06:30-15:45

Guidant Global is proud to partner with Airbus, the world's leading aircraft manufacturer. We're looking for skilled and motivated Aircraft Fitters to join the team at their highly respected Filton facility.

You will be working within the Build Production team on cutting-edge commercial and military aircraft, contributing directly to the manufacture of world-class wing structures. As a Skilled Aircraft Fitter, you will play a key role in:

  • Assembling aircraft components to exacting engineering standards
  • Using a variety of hand and power tools for drilling, sealing, shimming, and general assembly work
  • Completing tasks to required quality and safety standards
  • Undertaking 1st party certification following the appropriate training
  • Working safely in confined spaces (such as tank work) and at heights

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2 & 3 (or equivalent) in a recognised engineering discipline
  • Experience using hand tools and working in a fitter/assembly environment
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
  • Pre-employment medical
