Guidant Global is a leading recruitment partner for local councils, on behalf of our client we are looking for domestic cleaners. You will be required to work in residential homes, services which offer day care and short-term respite and hostels who provide care for the elderly and infirm, those with a physical disability and younger people with a long-term medical condition. There\’s a real community feel within these services. If you are a compassionate, positive person who isn\’t afraid to work hard, then this is the job for you. As their domestic support, you will be assisting others in the community who need a little extra help. We expect you to be polite and a good communicator. The role of the housekeeper is to ensure the cleanliness of the care home/hostel is kept to a high standard. This involves the cleaning of all communal areas throughout the property, resident\’s individual bedroom areas and bathrooms. The applicant must be able to work independently and be of a certain fitness level in order to carry cleaning supplies up and down stairs. Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively. As part of a dedicated team, you will provide a comfortable, safe and hygienic environment for residents and staff.
