Guggenheim Securities ("GS") is seeking an exceptional, experienced Associate to join its Technology & Services Investment Banking group based in London. Our London-based Technology & Services team is an integral part of GS' global franchise and leads the coverage and execution of transactions for companies across Europe. The group advises clients on a broad range of financial and strategic matters, including mergers and acquisitions, equity/equity-linked and debt financings, joint ventures, restructurings, and private capital raises.
Associates will join a highly collaborative team responsible for providing M&A advisory and capital raising (equity and fixed income) service and capabilities to corporate clients. GS offers a unique opportunity to work as part of small client teams on major strategic and financing assignments, providing meaningful exposure to senior bankers and client representatives.

Essential Job Functions
- Prepare and contribute to delivery of client presentations and interact with senior bankers, clients, lawyers, and accountants
- Develop and monitor the development of complex financial models for a broad range of corporate finance alternatives and valuation analysis
- Draft internal and client-facing documents, including management presentations, lender presentations, fairness opinions, and pitchbooks
- Perform client due diligence, prepare information memoranda and other transaction-related documentation
- Contribute to the creation of strategic frameworks, tools, and intellectual property to aid business development activities of the firm
- Conduct competitive research, including identifying sector and industry trends
- Gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, develop and communicate recommendations to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of investment banking or equivalent M&A experience
- Significant level of maturity and the ability to work as a team interfacing with top company executives and senior management
- Highly organized, with the initiative and ability to work with limited supervision
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Effective process management abilities
Basic Qualifications
- Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- Core modeling and valuation experience in professional setting
Currently, this role is expected to be in the London office at least 4 days per week.
