Guggenheim Investments is seeking an experienced Senior Product Specialist to join its Product Strategy team, reporting to the Head of Fixed Income Product Strategy. The Product Specialist will serve as a liaison between European Distribution and investment teams, representing the full suite of investment capabilities to current and prospective clients and internal partners. The candidate should act as an extension of the portfolio management team, with the ability to understand and articulate Guggenheim's portfolio positioning, performance attribution, the rationale for portfolio holdings and activity, risk attributes, and the views of the team — conveying this information effectively to European Distribution and home office research teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, written, and presentation skills, together with experience in European asset management including identifying trends to inform new product design and development. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, balancing multiple workstreams and communicating effectively both internally and externally, will be essential. The position is based in our London office on a full-time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between local distribution and investment teams to represent the full suite of investment capabilities to current and prospective clients and internal partners across Europe and the UK.
  • Act as an extension of the portfolio management team, with the ability to understand and articulate Guggenheim's portfolio positioning, performance attribution, the rationale for portfolio holdings and activity, risk attributes, and the views of the team — conveying this information effectively to Distribution teams and external clients.
  • Grow and retain assets under management by representing the investment team and key investment strategies to prospects and clients in partnership with Distribution.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the evolving investment needs, product structures (e.g. jurisdictions, liquidity profiles, fees, vehicle types), and the competitive landscape for both institutional and retail asset owners in the region.
  • Maintain close working relationships with other regional product strategy teams (US, APAC) to capitalise on opportunities to scale the business globally and leverage strategic, product‑specific, or client‑specific work across the global organisation.
  • Proactively position and market our solutions to up‑sell and cross‑sell to the existing client base, as well as identify potential areas of new growth.
  • Partner with and support our regional and global distribution and client service teams to cultivate new business opportunities and to service our existing institutional client base.
  • Position and prioritise the product suite, collaborating with the Head of Fixed Income Product Strategy, Head of Distribution, and the Marketing team on campaigns.
  • Build frameworks to share a deep understanding across the firm of regional client needs, competitive dynamics, regulatory trends, and money in motion — across institutional and retail segments — which are then utilised in product design and roadmap planning.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for fixed income and private credit strategies, providing product commentary, performance attribution, and responding to ad hoc client requests.
  • Serve as a point of contact and client‑facing strategist to address questions on existing products and product development from the internal sales force, existing clients, and prospects.
  • Assist the client service team with the engagement of existing clients for re‑ups and cross‑marketing opportunities.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with investment teams and regional distribution leaders, ensuring product strategy needs and expectations are fulfilled.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of a broad range of client types, including High Net Worth, Ultra High Net Worth, Family Offices, Insurance Companies, Quasi‑Government Entities, Pension Schemes, Sub‑Advisory relationships, Consultants, Home Office Research Teams, Gatekeepers, and Financial Advisers.

Qualifications

  • FCA‑approved status (or eligibility to obtain approval) preferred; relevant industry qualifications such as the IMC (Investment Management Certificate) or equivalent recognised by the Financial Conduct Authority.
  • Bachelor's degree (minimum).
  • Fluency in fixed income and credit strategies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the internal workings of Distribution and Investment lines of business.
  • Deep experience in fixed income, preferably in a product specialist role, investor relations, or portfolio management position.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in equivalent functions.
  • Deep understanding of markets and fund structures, including UCITS, AIFs, SMAs, ETFs, Investment Trusts, and other European‑domiciled vehicles across Irish, Luxembourg, and Cayman structures.
  • Demonstrated success supporting capital formation and fundraising.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to simplify complex investment concepts for a range of audiences.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to support client engagements, roadshows, and platform onboarding across key European markets.
