The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Finance team at our Head Office in West Bromwich. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity, particularly suited to a recent graduate or someone looking to build a career in finance. Key Responsibilities

  • Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Preparing and processing payment runs via BACS and cheque
  • Liaising professionally with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Investigating and resolving queries in a timely manner
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date purchase ledger records

About You

  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, flexible and “can-do” attitude
  • The ability to work independently while meeting deadlines
  • A willingness to learn and develop within a finance function

Working Hours

37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
