- Supervision and leadership of the excavation and reinstatement works team in the delivery of underground cable laying and duct work.
- Management of on-site Health & Safety matters
- The post holder carries out the day-to-day running of the excavation and reinstatement works team and will be required to deal with any matters that may impede workflow and achieving daily delivery targets.
- The role must deal impartially with minor personnel problems and infringements as they arise. This role is a key liaison person for other sections to obtain services from the section including the work scheduling function.
- Work is carried out in a variety of environments including on the public roadways and in all weather conditions and reasonable fitness is required for on-site work and the carrying of heavy equipment.
