Mission

As a Beauty Consultant for Guerlain, you are a brand ambassador. Your role is to achieve sales targets while promoting the brand image and providing a personalised luxury service to customers. Through your passion for the brand you will demonstrate an attitude that befits Guerlain at all times.

Hours: Part-time – 18 hours
Reports to: Business / Account Manager

Job Responsibilities

Sales

  • Pro‑actively sell Guerlain products and provide a luxury standard of service to customers.
  • Be aware of and achieve or exceed sales targets set by the line manager.
  • Pro‑actively link sell across product categories to increase average transaction value (ATV) and units (ATU).

Service

  • Be knowledgeable on all Guerlain products and propose personalised products to clients, confidently overcoming objections.
  • Demonstrate products to clients via flash make‑overs and explain the benefits of each product.
  • Initiate contact with customers, welcome them on counter and through traffic stopping.
  • Identify, understand, and reformulate client needs.
  • Develop personal relationships with clients and gain loyalty.
  • Educate clients on Guerlain products and the brand.

General

  • Participate in merchandise management in line with corporate guidelines.
  • Monitor stock levels, report any issues to the Counter Manager and ensure sufficient levels.
  • Conduct all assigned operational and administrative tasks.
  • Serve as a Guerlain brand ambassador and representative at all times.
  • Adhere to all company procedures and policies, as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Build relationships with store management and adhere to all store policies and procedures.
  • Carry out any additional duties directed by the management team.

  • Team player with strong communication and relationship‑building skills, able to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced retail environment.
  • Pro‑active, reliable and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities and respond to changing demands.
