GUBI is a modern design company offering a wide variety of luxury furniture, lighting, and interior objects for both residential and commercial settings. With a strong global presence, GUBI's headquarters and showroom are located in Copenhagen, Denmark. In May 2024, we opened our first permanent UK showroom in the heart of the London Design District. To support this expansion and increased demand, we are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join our UK & Ireland Contract team.

About the Position

As Contract Manager, you will play an active role in developing our contract A&D and dealer network in the UK and Ireland while also supporting global specifiers and key accounts. Your primary responsibilities include inspiring, supporting, and proactively engaging all GUBI project stakeholders. As part of a small and efficient UK team, you are self-driven, fast-paced, and hands-on with both internal and external tasks.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of documented experience from a Contract Sales role within the UK furniture, lifestyle, or luxury industries.
  • A strong network within the A&D community in the UK and Ireland. Connections in hospitality and workplace sectors are a plus.
  • Proven negotiation skills with a track record of successfully closing projects.
  • BA (Hons) Degree in design or related field is preferred but not required.
  • Proven ability to manage and optimize customer accounts and sales structures.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to influence, inspire, and create solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), with the confidence to deliver motivational training and presentations.
  • Strong CRM knowledge and IT proficiency (e.g., Microsoft, Salesforce, or similar platforms).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with A&D professionals and partners to achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate closely with partners, ensuring GUBI products remain top-of-mind and are specified in projects.
  • Conduct sales training to enhance A&D and partner product knowledge and familiarize them with GUBI's digital sales tools.
  • Plan, execute, and follow up on showroom activities and evening events.
  • Ensure that the GUBI London House maintains a high standard of presentation daily.
  • Participate in sales meetings at GUBI HQ in Copenhagen, as well as in local sales activities, events, and trade fairs.
