Cleancube Mobile Cleanrooms, part of the Guardtech Group, are seeking an experienced Ductwork/Ventilation Engineer to support the installation of ventilation and ducting systems within modular units in a factory-based environment. The role involves fitting, sealing and finishing ductwork within constructed modules prior to dispatch. A strong understanding of DW144 and associated regulations is essential.
Responsibilities
- Install ventilation ductwork within modular units in a factory setting
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Fabricate, fit, and seal ductwork in accordance with DW144 standards
- Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations and health & safety requirements
- Carry out quality inspections of installed ductwork
- Work closely with production and quality teams to meet build schedules
- Identify and resolve installation issues efficiently
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a Ductwork or Ventilation Engineer/Fitter
- Strong working knowledge of DW144 ductwork standards
- Experience installing metal ductwork (rectangular and circular)
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- High attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Understanding of health & safety within a manufacturing or construction environment
- Experience working in a modular, offsite, or factory-based environment
- Knowledge of Building Regulations Part F or related standards
- Relevant NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification
- Experience with airtightness requirements or testing
