Welcome to Guardsman Security Services Ltd.

We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Maintenance Technician to manage all maintenance, servicing and repairs to the hotel facilities.

A maintenance person’s day‑to‑day job is extremely varied and could see you painting a wall one day and repairing a broken toilet the next.

You will work alongside another member of the Maintenance team as many work needed as a team to move large items or completing a bigger project, but most occasions will be carrying task on your own.

Tasks

Key tasks include

  • Respond speedily to reactive painting & decorating repairs both inside and outside the hotel.
  • Maintain a maintenance program for the hotel’s painting & decorating.
  • Order materials efficiently to respond to work requests.
  • Support and work alongside the maintenance team in meeting higher priority works.
  • Assemble and move furniture.
  • Carry out various repairs and maintenance duties independently.
  • Hours & Schedule

Full‑time, 6 days a week. Shift length 8 hours (10 hours on occasion). Overtime, weekends, flexitime and holiday availability available.

Salary: From £11.50 per hour (above minimum wage, depending on experience and qualification).
