The Role

Our small friendly shopping centre security team has a full-time vacancy. You will be required to patrol the shopping centre and interact with members of the public, businesses within the centre and all contractors and visitors to the site. You will be responsible for the health and safety for all at the site and will be trained in emergency preparedness. You should have a positive attitude and be able to remain calm and diligent during any incidents that may occur on site. To apply for this role, you must have an in-date SIA and CCTV licences. You will also need to have experience of using Microsoft packages to complete necessary daily documentation and reporting as part of your role.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol the shopping centre and interact with members of the public, businesses within the centre, contractors and visitors.
  • Be responsible for health and safety for all at the site and participate in emergency preparedness training.
  • Maintain a positive, calm, and diligent approach during incidents on site.

Qualifications

  • SIA and CCTV licences
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Excellent customer service soft skills
  • A good level of spoken and written English
  • Basic report writing and IT skills
  • Demonstrable experience of dealing with difficult people and finding solutions
  • Drive and self-motivation
  • Keen eye for detail and awareness of security risks
