Primary, Secondary and SEN Schools

Ad-Hoc / Supply Basis

GSL Education is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teaching Assistants to work on an ad-hoc basis across a range of Primary, Secondary and SEN schools in Grantham and the surrounding areas. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys working in different school environments and is happy to pick up shifts as and when they become available.

The Role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, no two days will be the same! You could be supporting students in a Primary, Secondary or specialist SEN setting, providing valuable assistance wherever it is needed. You must be confident and comfortable working with children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and able to adapt quickly to different schools, classrooms and students.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience working with children with SEN
  • Is happy to work on an ad-hoc and flexible basis
  • Understands that work may not be available every day and is comfortable with not working full-time
  • Is available to pick up shifts when opportunities become available
  • Is confident working across Primary, Secondary and SEN schools
  • Is adaptable, reliable and able to settle quickly into new environments
  • Has previous experience working with children or young people
  • Holds relevant qualifications or training, which would be an advantage
