GSL Education seeks an experienced SEN Teacher for a specialist school in the Snaith (DN14 6) area. This role offers an opportunity to design personalized learning plans, support pupils’ development, and foster an inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons based on pupils’ IEPs.
  • Support students with autism, ADHD, and other needs.
  • Create a positive classroom environment promoting progress.
  • Collaborate with staff and parents for consistent support.
  • Monitor and report on pupils’ progress.
  • Maintain safeguarding and pupil welfare standards.

Requirements

  • UK QTS or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEN.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Empathy and adaptability.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
  • Full CV covering last 10 years with explanations for gaps.
