Are you a passionate SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic school in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced teacher who wants to help pupils reach their full potential.

Responsibilities of the SEN Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver personalised lessons to meet the needs of students with SEN
  • Work closely with support staff and other professionals to provide tailored support
  • Monitor and assess students\’ progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students in your care.

Requirements for the SEN Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a school setting
  • Strong understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support students
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • A passion for helping children with SEN to succeed
  • A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or be willing to obtain one).
