As aPrimary ECT, you will play a key role in shaping students’ learning experiences and supporting their academic and personal development. You’ll work alongside experienced educators who are committed to mentoring and guiding you through your early teaching career.

Key Responsibilities of Primary Early Career Teacher (ECT):

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Support students’ academic progress and emotional well-being.
• Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to education.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Participate in school activities and contribute to the wider school community.

What We’re Looking in Primary Early Career Teacher (ECT):

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)or pending QTS.
• Open to newly qualified and early career teachers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
• Relevant training or placements in educational settings (desirable).

• An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
• An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
