Salary: MPS/UPS (Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale)

Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm

GSL Education is currently recruiting passionate and qualified Secondary Teachers for long-term positions in secondary schools across Leicester. We are looking for teachers across all subjects who are ready to make a meaningful impact in the classroom and help students reach their full potential. These roles offer the opportunity for a Temp to Perm position for the right candidates, ensuring stability and career development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum for your subject area.
  • Tailor teaching to meet the needs of students of varying abilities, ensuring engagement and progress.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including parent meetings and extra-curricular activities.
  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment, promoting student well-being and academic success.

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with experience teaching at the secondary level.
  • A specialism in any subject (Maths, English, Science, Humanities, Languages, etc.).
  • A current DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Strong classroom management, planning, and communication skills.
