Role Overview:
As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic lessons across KS3 and KS4, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and a lifelong love for sport. You will plan and assess lessons effectively, ensuring all students are motivated and challenged in their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons that encourage participation and skill development.
- Plan and lead a range of sports and physical activities.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Promote teamwork, resilience, and healthy lifestyles among students.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities, including school sports teams and clubs.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- A degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 PE in a UK secondary school.
- A valid DBS on the Update Service.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Pay to scale, based on experience and qualifications.
- Ongoing support from a dedicated GSL Education consultant.
- Opportunity for a permanent position based on performance.
