- Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to work with an amazing school in
Doncaster .
This role is suited to a teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, respond to different learning needs and create a positive classroom culture for pupils during an important stage of their education.
As a
KS2 Teacher , you’ll have the opportunity to bring your subject to life while creating a classroom where pupils feel encouraged to participate and progress.
The role would suit a teacher who combines strong subject knowledge with a positive approach to learning.
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
- Adapt teaching approaches to support different abilities.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Encourage curiosity, independence and active participation.
- Establish clear routines and positive behaviour expectations.
- Work with colleagues to support individual pupil needs.
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom.
Requirements for the Key Stage 2 Teacher role
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential for a KS2 Teacher.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to engage pupils and build positive relationships.
- Good planning, communication and organisational skills.
Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Someone on hand to support you throughout your placement.
