About the Role:
As an Early Career Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally. You will work alongside experienced colleagues to build your classroom practice, assess pupil progress and create lessons that meet the needs of different learners. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your confidence while making a meaningful contribution to pupils' education.

Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons appropriate to the pupils' age and stage of learning.
Assess, monitor and record pupil progress.
Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and needs.
Establish positive classroom routines and manage behaviour effectively.
Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Suitable experience or training within a primary school setting.
Strong understanding of primary teaching and classroom practice.
Good communication, organisation and behaviour management skills.
A reflective and enthusiastic approach to developing your teaching practice.
Commitment to providing high-quality learning experiences for pupils.
To work with GSL Education as an Early Career Teacher/ECT (Primary), you should:
Have the right to work in the UK.
Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last two years.
Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
