GSL Education are seeking a dynamic and inspiring Dance Teacher to join a secondary school in Fareham on a full-time, permanent basis, starting in January. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and passionate educator to lead and deliver high-quality dance lessons, nurturing students’ technical skills, creativity, and performance abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and innovative Dance lessons across key stages.
- Inspire and motivate students to develop their dance technique, creativity, and confidence.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of schemes of work and departmental resources.
- Support and lead extracurricular dance activities, performances, and school events.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and a positive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Hold QTS, be an ECT, or possess an overseas teaching qualification recognised in the UK.
- Have experience teaching Dance at secondary level or equivalent performing arts experience.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Be committed to inspiring and motivating students to achieve their full potential.
