An exciting career opportunity for someone to make this new role their own in the sales and marketing team at a world-renowned concert hall in London. The department includes the Head of Sales & Marketing, Digital Marketing Co-Ordinator, two Deputy Sales Managers, a Box Office Assistant and seasonal casuals. This new role reports to the Head of Sales & Marketing, aiming to redevelop our sales function, utilize our ticketing system (currently Spektrix), and grow audiences and revenue. The Sales & Marketing Manager will lead the sales team, work with diverse customers and clients, and handle significant projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales: Identify new revenue streams, optimize use of our ticketing system, manage relationships with ticket agents, fulfill revenue management strategies, oversee daily sales operations.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, conduct performance reviews, and foster a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Marketing: Deliver marketing campaigns, oversee production of promotional materials, support CRM strategies, and guide F&B initiatives.
- Audience Development: Lead campaigns for group bookings, redevelop membership schemes, improve accessibility, and launch initiatives to attract younger audiences.
Person Specification: Essential Skills & Experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in a senior sales/marketing role, preferably in live entertainment, hospitality, or tourism.
- Proven success in meeting/exceeding sales targets, proficient with ticketing systems (Spektrix preferred) and CRM platforms.
- Strong analytical skills, management experience with diverse teams, negotiation skills, and excellent communication skills.
Desirable Attributes
- Experience in arts/culture sector, familiarity with AI marketing tools, knowledge of accessibility standards.
