We are seeking to appoint a highly committed and motivated Programme Manager to effectively deliver our bespoke new interdisciplinary graduate programme, the MSc Law and Finance. The Programme Manager plays a pivotal role in the smooth and efficient running of this ground-breaking degree programme. Working closely with the Programme Directors, you will be responsible for operational management, programme delivery, admissions, student experience and alumni engagement.
The Programme Manager’s performance directly impacts the quality of the student experience: they are responsible for detailed planning of complex programme logistics, daily contact with students and their queries, liaison with academic faculty across two departments regarding learning and grading, interaction with LSE’s central services to deliver the highest level of student experience.
The successful candidate must have relevant experience of working in higher education or a Business School environment, effectively managing complex logistics, with a particular focus on student experience. A proactive approach with a high level of engagement and ownership of key areas of the programme to ensure the highest levels of service is essential, as well as the ability to develop specialist expertise to provide accurate and timely advice. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to plan, manage and attend events, are essential.
An understanding of the ethos and nature of premium fee degrees, and an awareness of the field of corporate law and/or the financial services sector with an interest in professional education in management, business or law, would be advantageous.
This is a campus-based role with a requirement that the post-holder will be on campus five days per week in term time and during busy periods such as September for pre-sessional. Some evening and weekend work will also be required at points during the year.
