Leading media events business seeks an experienced Management Accountant to join their fast growing finance team based at their London HQ. An exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Management Accountant to join a dynamic team. You will play a key role in managing historical accounting, supporting cost tracking, accruals, and revenue analysis, while working closely with the business to enhance financial insights and improve forecasts.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Month end management accounts focused on overheads and balance sheet.
- Managing the company's budget and financial planning.
- Overseeing financial audits and compliance procedures.
- Collaborating with different departments to support financial strategies.
- Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Providing financial advice and guidance to the management team.
- Exposure of managing the monthly management accounts process and present regularly to the board.
Key Qualifications for the Management Accountant:
- Previous experience of working with Netsuite a must, ideally also with Adaptive, Office Connect and Concur.
- Ideally experience working for an SME - Under 100 people.
- ACCA or CIMA qualified or a finance degree.
- Proven experience working on the management accounts cycle and presenting back to management.
- Advanced Excel skills (ideally beyond pivot tables) for detailed reporting and analysis.
- Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and ask insightful questions to drive process improvements.
- A thorough understanding of financial regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in Excel, with familiarity with Tableau being a plus.
