In the UK, Guardian is continually looking for talented individuals to help them continue their growth and presence in the regional market. All UK manufacturing is based from the plant in Goole, East Yorkshire which has recently made significant investment in a new furnace which uses advanced technology and will secure glass manufacture at the site for the next 20 years. The plant can produce some of the most advanced and innovative energy saving architectural glass on the market today. The plant is a lower tier COMAH site which operates a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Goole Glass Manufacturing Plant. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our Logistics Team within the Warehouse department.
Our Team
Reporting into the Warehouse Shift Manager you will be part of a Multifunctional Logistics team.
What You Will Do
- Safely operate mobile plant equipment
- Ensure quality compliance against the pre-defined quality specifications
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve the logistics process
- Communicate effectively with your leaders and peers
- Proactive approach to safety and assessing hazards.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Flexible can-do positive attitude.
- Be contribution motivated.
- Confidence in using Mobile plant
- Have demonstrated an ability to work autonomously, can self-motivate and work alone
- Have the ability to drive change and improve the way we work
- Need a meticulous eye with keen attention to detail
