We're looking for compassionate, reliable people to join our supportive Basildon branch team as Care Professionals.

You won't just be ticking off tasks; you'll be building relationships, providing vital companionship, and helping people maintain their dignity and independence.

As part of our community team, you will be supporting clients across the following areas:

  • Highly Targeted Areas (URGENT Vacancies!): SS17 & SS18 (Stanford-le-Hope and Corringham).
  • Thurrock Area: Grays, Tilbury, Chadwell St Mary, Orsett, East Tilbury & Linford, Aveley & Purfleet-on-Thames, and Chafford Hundred.
  • Basildon Area: Basildon, Pitsea, South Ockendon, Langdon Hills, Laindon, Billericay, Wickford, and West Horndon.
  • Castle Point & Borders: Benfleet, Canvey Island, Rayleigh, Upminster, and Rainham.

We believe great work deserves great pay. You will receive:

  • £12.71 to £13.21 per hour (depending on shift times and experience).
  • Mileage paid for your travel between clients!
  • Guaranteed hours available for the right candidates - giving you the security of regular work!

Shifts - 7 Days a Week

  • Day Shifts: 7:00/8:00 AM - 3:00/4:00 PM
  • Evening Shifts: 3:00/4:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Driver Essential: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is strictly required for travel between clients.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day as a domiciliary Care Assistant is different, but your impact is always the same - life-changing. You'll support people to stay independent in their own homes and be a trusted part of a close-knit, local team.

You'll help with:

  • Providing personal care with dignity and respect - bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming
  • Assisting with medication - preparation and administration
  • Helping with mobility - and using aids/equipment safely
  • Preparing meals/snacks - and offering mealtime support
  • Carrying out light domestic duties - laundry, making beds, light cleaning
  • Offering companionship and reassurance - building meaningful relationships
  • Encouraging social engagement and family connections
  • Monitoring health and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals and family
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided
  • Responding to emergencies safely and effectively
  • Working collaboratively with families and the wider care team
