The Proposition Consultant plays a key role in supporting the Proposition team across a range of activities. In this role, you’ll monitor competitor and market activity and provide insight and supporting information for new product development. You’ll also help source and analyse data for product reviews, Consumer Duty and Fair Value reporting.

Experience and Knowledge
- Desirable but not essential: Basic understanding of the protection market.
- Experience working with data, reporting, or product information.
- Familiarity with market monitoring or competitor analysis.
Responsibilities
- Support the completion of regular product reviews by gathering and analysing relevant data.
- Provision of product metrics for regular consumer duty and fair value monitoring.
- Competitor and market monitoring.
- Maintenance of product specifications.
- Support new proposition development.
- Proposition technical support – including accuracy of information provided to 3rd parties.
- Proposition mailbox management.
- Assist with the completion of regular product reviews.
- Support the provision of proposition metrics for consumer duty and fair value monitoring.
- Conduct regular competitor and market monitoring to identify trends and opportunities.
- Maintain product specification, making accurate and timely updates as required.
- Provide support to the Proposition Team, in particular timely and accurate sourcing information to feed into product governance documentation.
- Manage and run the Proposition Mailbox ensuring timely and accurate responses to queries.
- Assist the Proposition Managers in providing input into regulatory product literature and customer communications.
- Ensure accuracy of information supplied to and maintained by portals and research agencies.
- Keeping up to date with the protection market, regulation and the broader macro and micro economic environment.
- Always looking for new opportunities, so that we can create a learning organisation, in line with agreed process.
- Work with and support the Head of Proposition, Proposition Development and Proposition Relationship Managers.
- Build and manage strong relationships with counterparts and stakeholders within internal teams and with external parties.
