The Role
Guardian Electrical Compliance is looking for a Senior Remedial Electrician to join our team on a permanent basis. In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and fixing electrical faults across a range of systems. We're seeking someone with sharp troubleshooting skills and a hands-on, proactive mindset—committed to always maintaining top safety standards and system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, and fix faults in single- and three-phase systems, aiming for first-time resolution. Carry out minor works and repairs on various LV installations.
- Determine and order required parts and materials for specific jobs.
- Coordination & Planning: Work closely with the Remedials/Operations Supervisor to align with maintenance schedules and reporting processes.
- Keep accurate records of all work completed and submit required paperwork within set timeframes.
- Teamwork & Independence: Operate effectively both independently and within a team, minimising disruption to client operations.
- Client Communication: Maintain clear, professional communication with clients to support smooth delivery of remedial works.
- IT & Reporting Skills: Create clear and concise reports using CRM systems. Basic IT knowledge is helpful; training will be provided.
Qualifications Required:
- Recognised time-served electrical apprenticeship in Contracting, Maintenance, or Mining, with the relevant qualification. (Essential)
- IET BS7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification. (Essential)
- City & Guilds Inspection, Testing, and Certification of Electrical Installations (2391-2400) or equivalent. (Preferred)
- CSCS Safety Passport or equivalent health and safety card. (Essential)
