The Role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team at Guardian Electrical Compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across a variety of commercial and industrial sites, ensuring all electrical systems are fully compliant with industry standards and safety regulations. You will use your expertise to identify potential hazards, document non‑compliance issues, and provide actionable recommendations to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough EICRs in commercial and industrial settings.
- Identify and report defects, safety hazards, and non‑compliance issues.
- Provide clear, detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
- Stay up to date with BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and industry best practices.
- Communicate findings effectively with clients and offer expert technical advice.
- Ensure safety protocols and company standards are always followed.
Qualifications Required:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical inspection or a related field.
- City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.
- NVQ Level 3 Qualification.
- IET BS7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- In‑depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.
- Valid UK driving licence.

- Salary Range: £48,367.80 - £50,661 base salary (With travel pay included, total annual earnings range from £55k to £77k)
