The Role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Electrical Inspector to conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across a variety of commercial and industrial sites, ensuring all electrical systems are fully compliant with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough EICRs in commercial and industrial settings.
• Identify and report defects, safety hazards, and non‑compliance issues.
• Provide clear, detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
• Stay up to date with BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and industry best practices.
• Communicate findings effectively with clients and offer expert technical advice.
• Ensure safety protocols and company standards are always followed.

Qualifications Required

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical inspection or a related field.
• City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.
• NVQ Level 3 Qualification.
• IET BS7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• In‑depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.
• Valid UK driving licence.

• Salary Range: £48,367.80 – £50,661 base salary, with travel pay included (total annual earnings £55,000‑£77,000)
• Location: Chelmsford
• Annual Leave: 22 days plus 8 bank holidays.
