The Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across commercial and industrial sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. You will identify hazards, document non‑compliance and provide actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough EICRs in commercial and industrial settings.
- Identify and report defects, safety hazards and non‑compliance issues.
- Provide clear, detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
- Stay up to date with BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations and industry best practices.
- Communicate findings effectively with clients and offer expert technical advice.
- Ensure safety protocols and company standards are always followed.
Qualifications Required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical inspection or related field.
- City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.
- NVQ Level 3 Qualification.
- IET BS7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- Valid UK driving licence.

- Position Type: Permanent, Full Time (Available immediately).
- Salary Range: £48,367.80 – £50,661 base salary. Total annual earnings range £55k to £77k.
- Location: Cambridge.
- Annual Leave: 22 days plus 8 bank holidays.
