Electrician (Approved) in Bristol

Position Summary: Guardian Electrical Compliance is looking for an Installation Electrician to join our team on a permanent basis. In this role you will be responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and fixing electrical faults across a range of systems. We seek someone with sharp troubleshooting skills and a proactive mindset, committed to maintaining top safety standards and system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, assess, and fix faults in single- and three-phase systems, aiming for first-time resolution.
• Carry out minor works and repairs on various LV installations.
• Determine and order required parts and materials for specific jobs.
• Coordinate and plan with the Remedials/Operations Supervisor to align with maintenance schedules and reporting processes.
• Keep accurate records of all work completed and submit required paperwork within set timeframes.
• Operate effectively both independently and within a team, minimising disruption to client operations.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with clients to support smooth delivery of remedial works.
• Create clear and concise reports using CRM systems. Basic IT knowledge is helpful; training will be provided.

Qualifications:

• Recognised time-served electrical apprenticeship in Contracting, Maintenance, or Mining, with the relevant qualification. (Essential)
• IET BS7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification. (Essential)
• City & Guilds Inspection, Testing, and Certification of Electrical Installations (2391-2400) or equivalent. (Preferred)
