We’ll give you £3,000 as a new‑starter bonus. Base salary: £44,179.20 with On‑Target Earnings up to £65,000 (including paid travel time). Pension, comprehensive training, company vehicle and fuel card, and generous holiday entitlement.

Guardian Electrical Compliance is looking for a Senior Remedial Electrician to join our team on a permanent basis. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and fixing electrical faults across a range of systems. We want someone with sharp troubleshooting skills, a hands‑on and proactive mindset, and a commitment to maintaining top safety standards and system performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and fix faults in single‑ and three‑phase systems, aiming for first‑time resolution.
  • Carry out minor works and repairs on various LV installations.
  • Determine and order required parts and materials for specific jobs.
  • Coordinate and plan with the Remedials/Operations Supervisor to align with maintenance schedules and reporting processes.
  • Keep accurate records of all work completed and submit required paperwork within set timeframes.
  • Operate effectively both independently and within a team, minimising disruption to client operations.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients to support smooth delivery of remedial works.
  • Create clear and concise reports using CRM systems. Basic IT knowledge is helpful; training will be provided.

Qualifications

  • Recognised time‑served electrical apprenticeship in Contracting, Maintenance, or Mining with the relevant qualification (Essential).
  • IET BS7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (Essential).
  • City & Guilds Inspection, Testing, and Certification of Electrical Installations (2391‑2400) or equivalent (Preferred).
