The Opportunity: Working closely with your fellow Educators and Centre Manager, you will enjoy:

  • Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
  • Developing and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.
  • Documenting and sharing with families in their children's learning and development.
  • Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum.

The Centre: Our 110-place centre in Elderslie includes a range of exciting, resource-rich environments. Located on Kingsman Avenue in southwest Sydney, our modern, spacious, and bright centre serves children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. With expansive indoor and outdoor spaces, we provide a safe and engaging environment for children to explore. The Centre features seven age-grouped learning spaces and a separate sleep room for the nursery. Each room is equipped with high-quality educational resources for creative and collaborative play-based learning, supporting children to develop a lifelong love of learning.

To be considered, you will have:

  • A completed Certificate III or Diploma in children's services.
  • Prior experience in long day-care.
  • Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF.
  • Current Working with Children's Check.
