Join our team and help take care of elderly and disabled individuals in the comfort of their own homes! At Guardian Angel Senior Services, you will have the opportunity to work as a Companion or Personal Care Provider. No experience necessary; we will train the right candidate with the correct mindset and compassion! Candidates will have flexible, self-determined schedule options based on client availability.

Location: Sunderland, United Kingdom

Responsibilities:
  • Assisting clients with personal hygiene and dressing
  • Performing general cleaning duties
  • Assisting with eating and shopping errands
  • Medication reminders and light housekeeping
  • Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the home
  • Shopping for groceries and household supplies
  • Performing vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
  • Cleaning rooms, halls, and bathrooms
  • Emptying and replacing trash containers
  • Planning and preparing meals with client assistance
  • Being a pleasant and supportive companion
  • Reporting unusual incidents and acting quickly in emergencies
Qualifications:
  • Own vehicle, valid driver's license, training available upon hire
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
  • Respectful, compassionate, good time management, excellent communication skills
  • COVID vaccinated (booster not required)
