About the role: This varied and rewarding role combines field-based team support, quality assurance, care delivery and office administration. You’ll play an important role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional care while helping our CareAngels develop and thrive. You’ll work closely with the Care Coordinator and Registered Manager to support capacity planning, quality and compliance. You’ll also participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota and provide care support when required.
Key responsibilities of the Field Care Supervisor:
- Support capacity planning and work alongside the Care Coordinator and Registered Manager
- Carry out supervisions, competency assessments, observations and mentoring
- Support the induction and shadowing of new Care Assistants and Support Workers
- Complete audits and quality assurance checks
- Investigate and resolve concerns and complaints professionally and empathetically
- Promote a positive, supportive team culture
- Lead by example and champion our values of compassion, professionalism, reliability and excellence
About you: You’ll be warm, approachable and compassionate, with excellent communication and organisational skills. You’ll be confident working independently, comfortable using your own initiative and passionate about supporting others to succeed.
Essential requirements of the Field Care Supervisor:
- Full UK Driving Licence and business use insurance
- Minimum 2 years’ hands-on care experience
- Minimum 1 year in a senior care or office-based care role
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care
- Care Certificate
- Experience using care management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning, time management and organisational skills
