As a Live In Carer, you will live in your client’s home and provide high quality, person centred care. This will typically include:
- Companionship and emotional support
- Meal preparation and light household tasks
- Personal care
- Medication support
- Shopping and social activities
Placements are offered on 2, 4 or 6 week live in cycles, depending on client needs and your availability. You will be matched with a client and follow an individual care plan. On average, care provision is around 10 hours per day, with appropriate rest periods. Many of our clients are living with conditions such as dementia, stroke or Parkinson’s, so experience and confidence in these areas is important.
Rates start from £800 per week, depending on the complexity of the placement.
