Care Supervisor for Guardian Angel Carers Fareham & Gosport
Remit
Guardian Angel Carers, a leading home care provider; are excited to be recruiting a new Care Supervisor. In order to support the team in the field and in the office, including with ‘out of hours’ on-call duties. The successful candidate will have experience in care at a more senior level, able to work as part of a friendly and dynamic care delivery team. The business focus is providing high quality, person centred care in line with CQC regulations.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will encompass all of Guardian Angel Carers core values, Compassionate, Professional, Friendly, Reliable, Quality, Innovative. Leading by example when talking to client or carer.
You will ensure we are meeting clients needs, delivering a safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led service. The Care Supervisor is responsible for:
Assessments and Care Plans writing:
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of client needs, develop person centered care plans, and update them as needed.
Reviews:
Conducting regular client reviews to assess client satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
Communication:
Maintain open communication with clients, families, and other relevant third parties involved in your clients care, keeping them informed about care plans and progress.
Client Support:
Provide direct support to clients when needed, address their concerns, and advocate for their needs. Monitoring the care provided to ensure it is aligned to our clients needs and care plan.
Your skills will include:
· Excellent communication skills written and Oral
· Ability to work in a team
· Self Motivated
· Able to use your own initiative
· Quickly able to build rapport with new people
· Proficient use of tablet and smart phone
· Accurate data recording
You will have:
· Previous Care Experience
· Positive Attitude
· Full UK Driving License
· Business Use Insurance
Your qualifications include:
· Care Certificate
· Desirable but not essential Level 3 in Heath & Social Care
40 hours per week, plus on call duties as per office rota.
