As our Deputy Care Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day leadership of our care service, supporting our clients, CareAngels and office team while helping us maintain the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance. You will work closely with the Registered Manager and Leadership Team, building meaningful relationships with our clients and their families while supporting the effective and compliant delivery of our services.

You will receive structured support, mentoring and hands-on development, with a clear pathway to progress into the Registered Manager role for our Eastleigh service as you develop your skills, experience and leadership capabilities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day management of the service
- Ensuring care plans remain person-centred, accurate and responsive to changing needs
- Monitoring quality, best practice and compliance across the service
- Supporting and developing CareAngels and members of the wider care team
- Investigating concerns, complaints, safeguarding matters and service quality issues appropriately
- Supporting audits, quality assurance and continuous improvement
- Liaising professionally with clients, families, healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams
- Supporting office operations and regulatory compliance processes
- Deputising for the Registered Manager when required and appropriate
- Participating in the on-call rota as part of the senior team
- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the service
What We’re Looking For
- Has previous management or supervisory experience within a care environment
- Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Demonstrates professionalism, compassion and reliability
- Can support, motivate and develop others positively
- Understands person-centred care and quality standards
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Excellent knowledge of care legislation and compliance is a must
- NVQ Level 5/BA or above
- Most importantly, we are looking for someone with the ambition and potential to develop into a Registered Manager.
