As a Care Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting both our clients and Healthcare Assistants, ensuring the highest standards of care delivery across Winchester & Hedge End and surrounding areas. You will work closely with the Registered Manager and Leadership Team while building meaningful relationships with clients, families and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conducting client reviews
- Ensuring care plans remain person-centred and responsive
- Monitoring Best Practices and Quality
- Supporting and mentoring Healthcare Assistants within your area
- Managing concerns, safeguarding and service quality issues appropriately
- Liaising with families, healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams
- Supporting office operations and compliance processes
- Participating in the on-call rota as part of the senior team
- Delivering occasional care visits where required to support the service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory or senior care role
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Demonstrates professionalism, compassion and reliability
- Can support, motivate and develop others positively
- Understands person-centred care and quality standards
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Good knowledge of care legislation and compliance is desirable
- NVQ Level 4/BA or above
