We have an amazing Live-In carer position available from January 2026 in a beautiful home and grounds, within a lovely North Yorkshire village. Our client is a gentleman who requires assistance with daily living. With an uninterrupted two hour break each day, you could enjoy the beautiful countryside, or admire the panoramic views from the grounds of our client's home. York's lively city centre is only 40 minutes drive away. In addition, you'll have lots of downtime each day. A full driving licence is essential due to the countryside location.

We offer competitive rates of pay, suited to your experience and the needs of our client. In addition to being a long term live in carer, you will also be part of a warm and welcoming family business that offers a feeling of connectedness and team spirit.

Our client requires assistance with:

  • Personal care
  • Medication management and administration
  • Grocery shopping, meal preparation and cooking
  • Social visits and outings as well as attendance at appointments

What you will need to have:

  • Experience of supporting people by providing live in care
  • A full UK driving licence (with business insurance)
  • The ability to prepare and cook nutritious, traditional meals
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • The ability to listen and show empathy
  • A desire to provide our client with dignity and respect
