We’re looking for a Community Team Leader to join our growing team and help shape a unique care experience that goes beyond the home. This hybrid role blends care leadership with meaningful community engagement. You’ll lead a dedicated team of CareAngels while building partnerships with local organisations, planning social events, and enhancing our clients' connection to the community.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- In addition to your main role as CareAngel to our wonderful clients
- Lead, support, and motivate a team of CareAngels to deliver person‑centred care.
- Conduct regular supervisions, spot checks, and one‑on‑one check‑ins.
- Support with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Ensure care quality standards, policies, and regulations are consistently met.
- Community Engagement (Approx. 20 hours/month) Paid at your hourly rate.
- Build relationships with local charities, organisations, and community groups.
- Organise and participate in our community Hub events and wellbeing projects.
- Support clients in accessing local activities and staying socially connected.
- Collaborate with volunteers to promote events and encourage community involvement.
- Champion social inclusion and client independence in everyday life.
What You’ll Need:
- Supervisory or team‑leading experience (care sector not essential).
- A genuine passion for community and social engagement.
- Event planning, group organisation, or volunteering experience.
- Strong communication and networking skills.
- Flexibility to switch between leadership, care, and community roles.
- A full driving licence and access to a car for work.
