Driving licence and access to a roadworthycar are essential for this position

What we’ll need from you.

Essential:

• UK Driving Licence and access to a roadworthy car
• A genuine desire to help and support others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
• A flexible approach to work (including evenings, weekends and holidays if required
• Good written English and the ability to complete electronic care records
• Willingness to undergo training and professional development
• Unrestricted right to work in the UK

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a care or support role
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it)

Key Responsibilities:

As a CareAngel, your main duties will include:

• Delivering care in line with each client’s personalised Care Plan
• Supporting clients with daily tasks, including:
  • Getting in and out of bed, dressing and undressing
  • Personal hygiene support
  • Changing catheters or stoma bags
  • Administering medication and completing an eMAR
  • Assisting with mobility, including the use of aids such as hoists, walking frames, and wheelchairs
  • Meal planning, preparation, and cooking
  • Light housekeeping and domestic duties
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals such as District Nurses and GPs
  • Reporting any concerns or incidents promptly to your Team Leader, Care Manager, or the On-Call team
  • Upholding all company policies, procedures, and values
