What we’ll need from you.
Essential:
- UK Driving Licence and access to a roadworthy car
- A genuine desire to help and support others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
- A flexible approach to work (including evenings, weekends and holidays if required
- Good written English and the ability to complete electronic care records
- Willingness to undergo training and professional development
- Unrestricted right to work in the UK
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a care or support role
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it)
Key Responsibilities:
As a CareAngel, your main duties will include:
- Delivering care in line with each client’s personalised Care Plan
- Supporting clients with daily tasks, including:
- Getting in and out of bed, dressing and undressing
- Personal hygiene support
- Changing catheters or stoma bags
- Administering medication and completing an eMAR
- Assisting with mobility, including the use of aids such as hoists, walking frames, and wheelchairs
- Meal planning, preparation, and cooking
- Light housekeeping and domestic duties
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals such as District Nurses and GPs
- Reporting any concerns or incidents promptly to your Team Leader, Care Manager, or the On-Call team
- Upholding all company policies, procedures, and values
